Green?

Have you ever wondered why Dr. Seuss chose green as the color for his eggs and ham in this very popular children’s book? 

When I think about food from the perspective of a child,  green is probably the last color I want my food to be. What a great discussion for students to have as they pay attention to Dr. Seuss’ word choice and his thoughtful use of adjectives.
